Igor Galić created TS-2389:
------------------------------

             Summary:  proxy.config.http.uncacheable_requests_bypass_parent is
undocumented
                 Key: TS-2389
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-2389
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Documentation
            Reporter: Igor Galić

Not sure how this got lost, but according to our old documentation, this boolean

{quote}
When enabled (1), Traffic Server bypasses the parent proxy for a request that
is not cacheable.
{quote}

more important might be the question of how this relates to OP's issue re:

{quote}
This single setting was what our issue was where our trafficserver instance was
not properly referring https requests to the outbound proxy server.

Digging in the source may be required.
