[~latinovic] Sweet! I don't think any of our comitters have a MIPS platform to
test this one, so we might have to take your words for it. The changes looks
fine to me, such that they should not affect any of our other platforms. But I
have not tested it :).
As for the big / little endian: I think we have a similar issue on ARM, where
we only support little endian as well.
