I'm not sure I understand the request. The first one is already local, right?
Are you asking for the RAM cache size to be configured as LOCAL in a cluster
environment? I'm updating the ticket Subject according to my best guesses at to
what you are asking for.
Fwiw, as far as the interim cache goes, I'm not a fan of adding more features
to it. It should be replaced with appropriate cache layering as is being
planned by e.g. [~amc] . If this ticket is related to the interim cache, I
think we should close it as Won't Fix.
