I don't know if this will ever be implemented (to support ascii logs). I'm
going to clone this, with a different Subject, because what would be quite
doable is to make it support a custom log format using the binary format.
The reason for this is that in the binary format, parsing the log format is
trivial. Without that, it gets tricky at beast, and impossible in worst case
scenario (e.g. custom logs).
