I removed the NULL check to handle half close state correctly. It had been 
reported as TS-3813 (it should have been fixed in TS-3497).
We have to handle open and idle state; TS-3812 will cover this.

So, I'm sure that we don't need the NULL check, and removing find_stream is 
reasonable.
