James Peach created TS-4175:
-------------------------------

             Summary: unset INSTALL_BASE when installing
                 Key: TS-4175
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-4175
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Build, Management API
            Reporter: James Peach

If you have CPAN set up, it will inject environment variables that break the
perl module installation, specifically
{{PERL_MM_OPT=INSTALL_BASE=/home/jpeach/perl5}}.

The resulting error is:
{code}
Making all in perl
make[3]: Entering directory '/tmp/org.apache.trafficserver.3277/obj/lib/perl'
test -f "../../lib/perl/Makefile.PL" || cp -rf
"/home/jpeach/tmp/trafficserver-6.1.1/lib/perl/." "../../lib/perl/"
/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=
PREFIX=/tmp/org.apache.trafficserver.3277/dst
Only one of PREFIX or INSTALL_BASE can be given. Not both.
