I tried this in my thundering herd test case.  Most of the time it worked 
great.  Better than my other solution because the redirect stays on the box.  
My other solution was having the downstream box capture the 502 response and 
resend the request.   

However, sometimes, the redirect seems to trigger a 500 INKApi Error response.  
I think it has something to do with DNS and connecting to the origin server.  
In my 100 concurrent test case I'd get 1-3 500 responses come back to the 
client about 50% of the time.  In my 10 concurrent case the rate seemed higher. 
 If I removed the DNS hook, the ATS process would just crash.
