Workaround for TS-4207
Bump the default hostdb size in records config (and add better error logging on
hostdb)
Since adding an additional 120 to each entry requires a larger cache, we'll
bump the default size in the config. In addition I've added the required size
to the error log instead of making the user guess
this closes #553
