Thomas Jackson created TS-4536:
----------------------------------

Summary: hostdb serve_stale_for records sometimes never expire
                 Key: TS-4536
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-4536
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Thomas Jackson

In hostdb when a record is served stale while revalidated-- the ip is
refreshed. This means that hostdb sets the "query time" to when the record was
served. In the extreme case, if a request comes in every second for the record
it will NEVER expire-- which is presumably not what you want (nor what you
configured).
