@jrushford -- I did consider something similar before going with the MIME
header approach. I also considered extending the HttpRequestHeader with
additional data elements. It seems that the findParent, etc. above occur in
some places such as Socks.cc where Http Transactions are not normally in scope.
Besides affecting the modularity to declare in those areas, I think that the
header files and/or make files would need some work as well to get the includes
to work.
