Hans Zeller noted in the code review comments for JIRA TRAFODION-2322 that the
routine I used to check for system columns was not completely robust. There is
an undocumented feature that allows one to use regular identifiers for
divisioning columns. The code review response there suggests alternative
designs that would be more robust. This JIRA covers choosing and implementing
such a design.
