I'm not sure what the purpose of this JIRA is. Why do we want to add "edition"
to error message?
Trafodion project is not creating multiple "editions" of trafodion as far as I
know. If vendors want to package trafodion for a particular distro, they can.
I'm not sure if that is what is meant by term edition. Likewise, if a vendor
wants to modify or enhance trafodion for their own version, then it should be
branded differently, not just an "edition" of Trafodion.
So what am I missing?
