note: the behaviour is now that if no short cut character appears then no "Ctrl"
or "Shift" appears, so you get no shortcut at all. This seems more fair to me as
the shortcuts don't work anyway as they do not exist in that keyboard layout.
In the KDE application (e.g. kate) you can see the latin shortcuts, but they do
not work either. As, for instance, is the same with Alt Shortcuts (e.g. alt+f
does not open the file menu).
