Decided by myself ;-)
May be some of the hints in issue 54623 are helpful.
My be it should be clearified again that we talk about <Alt Gr>+<a>; That Key
is only labeled "Alt" on some keyboard layouts and called "Right Alt". Al my
tests to reproduce the problem showed the problem using <Alt Gr>+<a>, but not
with <Alt>+<a>
