------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jan 28 13:53:44 -0800 2007 ------- Reproduced on Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft (Linux whitewizard 2.6.17-10-generic #2 SMP i686 GNU/Linux). OpenOffice 2.0.4 Ubuntu packages. There appears to be a focus problem. Steps taken on Ubuntu were: 1- Fire up Open Office Word Processor. 2- Select "File|Close" (No document should be open now) 3- Hit Ctrl + O or Ctrl + Q ==> Nothing will happen 4- Now move the mouse cursor and click once on the application's title bar. 5- Repeat step 3 ==> Both shortcuts are now responsive. In my opinion this is a focus problem, i.e. when the open document is closed focus is not returned back to the app. I think this is why as soon as you click on the application's title bar both shortcuts become responsive again. This problem does _not_ occur with the same version of Oo on Arch Linux 0.7.2 Gimmick. (Linux M6805 2.6.18-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT i686 Mobile AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux). Here again the Oo package are from the distro's official repos. Additional Notes: Problem persists on Ubuntu also with Database, Presentation, and Spreadsheet. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
