I have been using OO.org for about a year now and one of the things that has
always bugged me is that the File, Open dialog does not remember my settings
from one instance to the next. When I need to open several files individually
(typically while doing a Insert sheet from file) I have to re-set the view
(list, details, thumbnails, etc.) and the sort order (details view -> name,
date, type, etc) for every file I open. This is very tedious when I have to
open a number of files.

In my case, I prefer to see the files in detail view, sorted ascending by date
for virtually every time I open any file. I am sure others have different
preferences. It would be great if OO.org "remembered" the way I set this dialog
box the last time I used it.

Thanks for all of the hard work of this project and please let me know if you
need any more input on this.
