But the new standard.soc palette is not contained in the Patch, only in the full installation. Note that there is a general problem with this: the palette is part of the presets. Any user who starts SO/OOo will get a copy of the standard.soc from presets to his own user-directory. From then on this file in no longer touched. That means, whenever you started at least once, you will never get new colors with patches. However, if someone starts a patched version for the first time, and never started SO/OOo in an earlier version (i.e. has a clean user-directory), he will get the palette from presets.
