With the introduction of the code changes for travis the make target {{test}}
now generates a coverage profile file called {{coverage.txt}}
This file gets uploaded by travis to codecov but should not be checked in.
We need to fix up the {{.gitignore}} files in all repos that generate a
coverage (core and k8shim)
