Summary: Expose build and version information in a REST call

The build information is part of the binary when it gets build. We should
expose this as part of a rest call.
In addition we should update the build process to push the git hashes into the
binary instead of adding them as labels on the docker image.
Leveraging the {{-ldflags}} option from go to set a structure that we can
nicely expose.
