The linter logs this message on each run:

The linter 'golint' is deprecated (since v1.41.0) due to: The repository of the
linter has been archived by the owner. Replaced by revive. {code}
We should follow the advise and update the .golangci.yml configuration file in
all repos and start using the new linter
