Wilfred Spiegelenburg commented on YUNIKORN-1810:
-------------------------------------------------

There is a change in the way the docker images build picks up the architecture
when generating the manifest. The images have the same details when passed into
the manifest. The {{variant}} in the previous releases manifest was separated
from the platform. That does not seem to happen with the current build.

Docker just points to the Go documentation for {{$GOOS}} and {{$GOARCH}} and
what is supported. There is no information on how to influence this with the
manifest build or even documentation of the manifest command.

Solution at the moment is to not specify v8 on the builds and manifest.
I will open the needed PRs against the repositories involved.
