Craig Condit commented on YUNIKORN-1634:
----------------------------------------
I'm not sure we should do this at all. There is not currently a standard label
in Kubernetes for applicationId - app.kubernetes.io/instance has a very
different meaning.
> Reuse existing labels for applicationId

> Project: Apache YuniKorn
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Reporter: RafaĆ Boniecki
> Priority: Major
>
> I would like to reuse existing labels instead of forcing developers to create
> another one. I explicitly specified plural because I would like yunikorn to
> give priority to configurable set of labels eg. instance,
> app.kubernetes.io/instance labels and only when those are not present it
> should look for applicationId.
