Target Version: 1.5.0
Setting this up for 1.5.0. Unless you can get this updated in the next couple
of days.
We need to consider backwards compatibility as mentioned in the PR by
[~yzhangal]
Introduce the new metrics in 1.X together with the announcement of the
deprecation of the existing ones in 1.X+1. We need a specific release for when
we remove the existing ones. (like 1.X+2 or 2.0)...
