The latest scripts are needed to get the full license file from the k8shim. It
includes a copyright reference for some examples. The k8shim repo has the
correct one but the source release tar ball we build did not have the correct
one included.
This does not affect release tagging or anything, it just makes sure we have
the correct content in the final source tar ball. Something we overlooked when
fixing
