As part of the YuniKorn 1.8.0 release a patch was raised to update docusaurus
to 3.9.x The local build I have run with that change allowed me to search
through the generated site.
That upgrade included a version change for the docsearch from algolia v3 to v4.
Follow up: check if the issue still exists in the updated site.
