what is the status of the last PR?
Currently I am doing some measurements, to see the impact of enabling SSL. I am
using Patrick Hunt's loadtest tool, which is written in python, so I had to
implement the python C binding for SSL on top of your latest patch. I would be
happy to push the python related code after you finish this PR. (I can create a
follow-up Jira task) Or alternatively, if you have no time to work on this,
then I am happy to take over.
