Please double-check this. I've included some websites. Salmonella can be
transmitted through fecal material, and, if nothing else, the students and
teachers should be encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly after handling
hatching eggs or chicks. Salmonella can easily be mistaken for the flu, so
cases are probably unreported.
