Nothing is different; their MD5s are identical.  GMail's web interface
doesn't show them of course, but I can see them in Gnus and Thunderbird.
It's always possible they have different flags, I suppose...

Ah, but that *doesn't* happen, which was the point of my original mail.
These duplicates came from somewhere else.
