hello,

here is the short version of my question:
does isync do IDLE? (couldn't find any indication in mans/docs).

detailed:
i have multiple IMAP accounts which are all on gmail except a single
account from my school. i only sync a single folder on the servers,
([Gmail]/All Mail for gmail) and also don't have admin privilege on gmail
or our school's machine to implement mswatch. (although apparently there is
gmailfs which might work for gmail accounts).

right now isync is setup to poll every 5 minutes using a daemoniser
(systemd) but that doesn't seem optimal given the fact that gmail and my
school's srv do support IDLE.

if this is not the job/design-goal of isync, do you know of any other
program (lightweight pls, in C if possible) that would do this?

thanks,
glphvgacs
