Hey there,

I've been using isync with gmail for a while without problems, but I'm
now trying to use it on a Fastmail account and having issues with
authentication. Fastmail is failing with "You must use your full
username of the form yourusern...@domain.tld to login", and when I
base64 decode the string that mbsync is passing (with SASL PLAIN) I see
that it is:

"myusername@fastmail.fmchrismypassword"

The "myusern...@fastmail.fm" is what I set in the User section for the
account, which is correct, but "chris" is my local username and I'm
pretty sure that this is what's causing the issue. I don't see any way
to change/disable it in the mbsync manpage. Is there something I'm
missing here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Chris
