The other thing you haven't shown us is the full text of the error message. Try running mbsync -V.output of $(mbsync -V gmail) attached as output.log, also i attached a "reduced" copy of my rc file as i'm expecting the error is (should be) there. nevertheless i can't find the error... @output.log: i cut off the bottom part as it only shows the same error as the last 2 lines for all my connected folders.
