Hi, I am using the isync 1.3.1 on a mac and on a WSL, both with mu4e.
It had been working well until recently I handled a message with a large attachment.
The large message was retrieved without problem. However, after I read it, moved it to another folder (say "Archive"), and synced again, mbsync gave the following error message and failed:
IMAP command 'APPEND "Archive" (\Seen) "XXXXXXXXXXXX" ' returned an error: BAD Max request size 20971520 excced
Checking local and remote storage, I found that after the error the message only existed in the local Archive folder.
I can confirm that it is due to the large message whose size is over 20M, because if I delete the local copy and sync again, no error occurs.
I am asking because 1) the email service I am using can handle messages larger than 20M (has some messages around 50M), 2) I also use thunderbird to manage the same email account via IMAP (the same configuration (server, port, etc.)), and tried with the same message. Retrieving, reading, moving, and syncing back worked fine.
It seems that 20M is a limit set by the IMAP server (I do not know much about email systems). Since IMAP through TB works, I am just wondering whether there are some configurations for mbsync that I need to take care of or there can be some workaround.
