I personnaly use cyrus-sasl-xoauth2 on arch (with one gmail account and one gsuite account). Initially, it was not working (hanging on SASL auth) but I left an issue on Github [1], and the developper solved the bug fairly quickly ; this let me think he would not reject a PR to add OAUTHBEARER mechanism support. Building it is fairly standard, so it should not be hard to package it on other distributions (technically, at least).
