load that into gdb along with the matching executable, run "bt full" and
post the backtrace (if it contains sensible variable and parameter names
and values, otherwise rebuild with CFLAGS='-Og -g3' and try again).
that should tell us which buffer is affected and how big it's supposed
to be.
