from mbsync(1):
```man
MaxMessages count
Sets  the  maximum number of messages to keep in each near side mailbox.  This
is useful for mailboxes where you keep a complete archive on the server, but
want to mirror only the last messages (for instance, for mailing lists).  The
messages that were the first to arrive in the mailbox (independently of the
actual date of the message) will be deleted first.  Messages that are flagged
(marked as important) and (by default)  un‐ read messages will not be
automatically deleted.  If count is 0, the maximum number of messages is
unlimited (Global default: 0).
```

my case is the opposite of that^; i.e. i have a very small quota on the server
and a fairly big amount incoming messages (mailing lists). i want to archive
the mailing list locally where i have comparatively unlimited storage but
expunge everything on the server so i never hit the quota. is this possible?
