This is another requirement that has come in through Lockheed Martin Position: Mainframe Business Analyst Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 6-12 months Rate:40/hr DESCRIPTION Specific Job Description Performs functional and business requirements analysis and IT applications analysis, and some IT applications development as assigned. Writes technical design specifications for the development team. Develops test plans and test cases and executes the test cases. Works closely with software developers to debug and correct system problems. Recognizes, diagnoses, researches and resolves system and design concerns. Provides development life-cycle support and evolutionary lifecycle improvements or modifications as requested. Responsible for ensuring appropriate Change Management processes/procedures and documentation are followed. Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, related degree. Considered an emerging authority. Required skills Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong teamwork, ability to multi-task and a strong commitment to client service. Strong requirements analysis and application analysis and design skills. Working knowledge of distributed and mainframe application environments. Experience should include working with standard lifecycle processes and tools, and working within a team environment. Familiar with Object oriented programming analysis.
