Description: Client is working with the premier cancer center in the world on a year long contract opportunity in the Houston Medical Center. Defines, designs and implements complex web software application projects throughout the entire software application life cycle phase. Complete Description: Develop reusable request tracking system that can be customized per customer. This will fulfill the needs of the following two requests: - Nursing Policies & Procedures modification request form. - Request tracker for creation of non-person accounts. Develop reusable RSS feed manager that can be customized per customer. This will fulfill the needs of the following requests: - RSS feed creation tool (request for the generic tool). - RSS Feed for CancerWise. - Add RSS to Patient Power site. Develops one or more, large, complex web software application projects or enhancements to meet defined requirement or business specifications. Works directly with customers to develop application requirements, project timeline and ensures business objectives are met. Ensures that the project deliverables meet all applicable internal and external standards and regulatory requirements. Integrates existing institutional applications/data into web based application when appropriate. Assists the department in the development and maintenance of the web site including its infrastructure, security, and performance. Analyzes and tests emerging technologies and determines applicability to the Institution. Maintains and expands working knowledge of the technical tools available to implement solutions. Actively supports organizational goals and objectives.
