Job Description: This position will participate in a small team of UI developers for global enterprise applications. The UI team works directly with a large team of * J2EE* developers. The main focus is development of new and enhancement of UI components, JavaScript and AJAX. Position Reports To: Manager of Web Development Job Responsibilities: * Provide assistance in the day-to-day design, development and maintenance of all web applications * Assist in the design of new applications and development of product user interface features * Develop Data Entry applications using DHTML/AJAX, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, JSP * Develop prototypes of new applications or enhancements to existing web sites for review by development team and key users * Develop new or enhance UI based components (Combo Boxes, Modal Windows, etc.) * Troubleshoot and modify complex existing JavaScript code Skills Profile Experience/Knowledge * Comfort in Object Oriented JavaScript design concepts and programming (namespacing, etc.) * Attention to detail and designer*s eye * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to multi-task every week * Works well in Team environment * but can work alone when required * Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, clients and other IT groups * Completes deliverables on-time with limited supervision.
