Hello Folks, looking for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract position in the Denver area.
Requirements: * Understands and applies project management job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts. * Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies. * Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives. * Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the project. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the project. * Represents the GNS organization as primary contact for providing project status. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. * Moderate degree of technical and engineering knowledge. 5-8 years experience as a project manager. * Managed at least 5 separate, unrelated software engineering projects during career. * Typically: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or other technical field.
