Position: Sr. Java/C++ Developer Location: Champaign, IL
Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $50/Hr Best F2F may be required. Qualifications: Be a technical lead to Client onsite portal projects to support internal and external requirements. Ability to work with a team of application SMEs located worldwide. Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with development and other business support teams. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Support maintenance of current products (bug fixes). Ability to understand business logic for Client applications and provide solutions/fixes to internal/external customers. Experience with mobile user experience and development of mobile portals. Consumer Portals, ecommerce and 3rd party interfaces knowledge required. Customer facing Telco/ISP consumer portal business experience. Comfortable with short projects with tight deadlines. Facilitating technical teams in a production operations environment. Strong Java/UNIX platform background with Communications service providers (e.g., wireless providers, wire line providers) or Financial Services providers (e.g., retail banking) preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent education and experience. Thorough knowledge of standard development life cycle methodologies such as CMM and agile methodologies such as SCRUM. Perform well under pressure in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment. Collaboration oriented. Internal: A team player. External: Able to work well with internal/external clients. Ability to cope well with quick changes. A minimum 5 years experience in managing technical implementation projects. 2-3 years experience with development/support teams. Experience in development and deployment of high volume consumer portals at multiple sites. Strong experience with portal themes, content and widget development/deployment technologies. Need experience in portal integration technologies with third parties such as Google. Back ground in federation and identity management technologies such as SAML/LDAP preferred. 4 to 5 years of experience in programming in Portlets(JSR 168 & WSRP) ,Java, JSP, EJB, servlets, C/C++, XML, Shell-scripting, Tuxedo, Websphere/Weblogic , SQL, Oracle.
