Duration: 6+ Month Rate: $35/Hr Best Openings: 3 Description: Client is recruiting for three contractors a clinical research organization in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio who are Sr. Level PL/SQL Oracle Programmer Analysts. Our client needs experienced Oracle Programmer/Analysts to develop PL/SQL code and triggers for TrialWatch, their clinical testing program. Core Responsibilities: Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming application activities. Oracle PL/SQL development using Oracle 9i/10g Oracle trigger development Writes test cases for Oracle code Writes documentation for Oracle code Writes business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions. Develops statements of problems, designs systems and programs, and writes programs in computer language for a solution by means of data processing equipment. Modifies and tests programs in Development environment for release to production. Troubleshoots issues reported in production environment Coordinates with Quality Control in final resolution of issues and production release of programs. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Skills & Attributes 3-5 years experience with Oracle PL/SQL and trigger development is a must. UNIX experience is a plus. TOAD experience is a plus.
