Duration: 7+ Months Contract-to-Hire Rate: $45/Hr Best F2F is a MUST!! Only GC/Citizens/EADs!! Project Description: Developing the replacement point of sale system to be utilized in the stores. Position Summary: Performs Quality Assurance Testing during all phases of testing each release on the Replacement Point of Sale Project. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, to include reviewing project requirements and design specifications to identify gaps and ensure documented project criteria are clear, consistent, and testable. Translate assigned end-user requirements into fully documented, re-usable test cases and scripts in accordance with approved test plans. Participate in Test Case Peer Reviews to ensure test cases appropriately translate and map to requirements. Develop, document, and maintain the test plan and approach. Oversee the selection, design, and prioritization of test scenarios and test cases that provide efficient coverage of requirements consistent with acceptable level of risk. Other duties include: Interacts with test team and other internal and external organizations to identify, create, and maintain test data needed for execution of test cases. Evaluates result of test execution and documents, retests, and closes defects if expected results are not achieved. Monitors and reports status of testing tasks in the project plan. Document issues related to testing and work with project team to resolve and/or escalate as appropriate. Expected Deliverables: Updated status documents. Thorough/accurate test cases. Documented/auditable test results. For UAT, get proper signoff on all required testing. Supervisory Responsibilities: none Education and/or Experience: Over 5 years of Quality Assurance in all levels of testing working independently.
