Job Description
Senior Middleware Engineer
This position will act as the senior middleware system engineer for the Shared
Application Services workflow and BPM infrastructure. .
Responsibilities will include: FileNet P8 system support maintaining 24x7
operations with high availability, 3rd level P8 platform technical support
for multiple applications, developer support, custom development, scripting,
middleware and repository configuration, implementation and
tracking of system patches, security administration, system monitoring and
backup, in both Microsoft and UNIX environments. The position will also serve
as a technical liaison with the vendors' support staffs and facilitate end-user
technical support and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
5 years experience administering, developing or supporting large distributed
applications in a large corporate or consulting environment.
3 years in a senior-level capacity.
Must have at least two years experience administering and maintaining
applications in Unix based environments including Linux.
Extensive experience with workflow and content management functionalitysuch as
that of the FileNet P8 product suite.
Preferred is experience with Websphere, Java, PERL, OS scripting, J2EE and XML
web service development.
Should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as
excellent diagnostic and problem solving abilities.
Must be able to work independently in a demanding and complex environment to
effectively address multiple priorities.
