Location: San Diego, CA. Duration: 6 months contract. Job Description: BCI has an immediate opening for a Senior Network/SNMP Developer in San Diego, CA. This is for a 6 month contract. Responsibilities: * Develop tool strategies and tactics that drive the operation of Incident Management, Release Management, Performance and Capacity Management, Asset and Configuration Management and Infrastructure Monitoring and Support. * Demonstrate a solid understanding of SNMP and associated MIBs. * Act as a subject matter expert in planning, implementing and integrating IT tools such as Spectrum, Sitescope, Topaz, eHealth, Cacti, Cisco Works and numerous others off the shelf and home grown tools. * Recommend new tool technologies and lead the development of new IT tool standards and processes based on industry standards and best practices. * Improve the customers' experiences by understanding and focusing on what's important, measuring how we are doing and driving the necessary actions to improve. * Promote speed, quality and shared vision by getting the right people involved in decisions. * Identify trade-offs between short and long term, and balance the needs of Intuit's three key stakeholders. * Demonstrate strong project management skills and drive results within the team. * Excellent follow-through. * Ensure the team is accountable for and effectively executing day-to-day and strategic responsibilities. * Continuously assess and improve processes within your scope, including the impact on upstream and downstream groups, and recommend improvements in processes you and the team interact with. * Establish a unique vision for the future (generally at the project level) and generate broad support. * Demonstrate an entrepreneurial perspective (envisioning new and innovative ideas and approaches and taking them to fruition).
