Send me resumes at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Position: Sr. WebSphere MQ Administrator Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 3+ Months Primary responsibilities include managing WebSphere MQ configurations, and maintaining standards, guidelines, and best practices for implementations on all platforms at Wachovia. A key responsibility will be to act as technical liaison to infrastructure and other support groups during problem resolution, providing escalation to IBM when needed and providing liaison support to IBM or other vendors for WMQ related issues. Responsibilities also include support for message based integration design and development efforts at Wachovia, and WMQ version management in collaboration with platform system admin and application support groups. Minimum Requirements include strong knowledge of WMQ in distributed environments, including Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux and HP-UX configurations. Candidates much have strong ability to navigate both UNIX and Windows environments. WMQ Product certification is required with minimum of IBM Certified System Administrator WebSphere MQ V6.0. Candidates must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills as well as good judgment, tact and the ability to work effectively with clients and peers. Ability to work within a cross functional team approach to solving problems is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail in support of WMQ administration. Preferred skills include knowledge of WMQ deployments in IBM mainframe environments, strong knowledge of MQ Clustering, and additional production certifications, such as IBM Certified Solution Designer or IBM Certified Solution Developer.
