Location: DC Rate: $55-65/hr The Risk Management Applications Group (RMA) supports Capital Markets Strategy(CMS) in developing applications that measure risk and return on the client portfolio including interest rate risk and credit risk. This includes attribution of risk and return. The developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the front end for an application called PRiMA. PRiMA is the end user application for the above platforms. The front end is coded in Java Swing and interacts with a J2EE server for run/resource related operations. This position requires extensive experience in user interface design and development including a very good knowledge of intuitive layout/presentation. This position requires 7+ years of UI development including 3+ years of Java swing development. Extensive Experience with GUI layout/presentation design. Knowledge of J2EE components including servlets, EJB etc. Prior experience with large scale and complex UI development. Prior experience in finance industry a plus 5-7+ years software development experience 5+ Yrs.
