Location: Bothell, WA Duration: 2+ Months Rate: $37/Hr Best Qualifications: -Strong programming skills (2+ years) with one of the following: C, C++, Java, Visual Basic or C# -Must have 2+ years hands-on experience in Mercury Test Director/Quality Center, WinRunner, QTP, MST, or other commercial test management and automation tools, such as SilkTest or SOATest -Strong knowledge in database/SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) queries -Experienced with Win XP, UNIX, PERL, Jscript, ASP, HTML, XML, WSDL, SOAP is a plus -Must be capable of coordinating efforts with members of a cross-functional team to produce productive results and achieve the team goals and company goals -Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with little or no supervision. -Education minimum requirement: BS in CS (or equivalent work experience) Responsibilities: Tester supports the delivery of high-quality information systems by leading the effort to plan, execute, and document results of tests of new or revised system capabilities. This includes primary responsibility for determining whether new or revised system capabilities have been adequately tested for release to users in production. Determine level of testing required to validate new or revised system capabilities. Create test plans to accomplish required testing. Execute test plans. Report accurate testing status. Create test summary reports. Continuously improve test models, test data, and test processes based on lessons learned.
