Analyze, design, develop, test, validate and implement new or modified services and/or programs using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL and UNIX scripts. Perform data analysis, client support and consulting activities. Interact with Project Managers to develop proposals for solutions to business issues. Analyze user requirements, technical programming and maintain status of work in progress. Maintain application validation documents. Establish good working relationships across global businesses and geographies with both IS and business people. Competent to work on complex system analysis and programming assignments with minimal supervision. Expected to independently determine solutions. Expected to work independently with end-users and business partners to understand requirements and design and estimate solutions. Handles multiple small to moderate size project assignments concurrently. May participate in application Governance Council meetings. Make recommendations and assist with prioritization of projects. Maintains competency in the technology related to responsibilities. Total information systems experience of 8 years. years of experience in the development and support of business applications using Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. 4 years of experience in Oracle database and SQL development. Strong data analysis and problem solving skills. Experience with a structured system development methodology. A good understanding of at least one business function. PREFERRED EXPREIENCE: Informatica Powermart experience. Experience working with application governance councils making recommendations and advising the members.
