Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $50/Hr Best Openings: 5 Position Requirements: Long term project. This is for a web-based expansion project. The Systems Analyst will perform maintenance and testing of current system test modules and documentation, as needed, in order to resolve other system problems. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) Sessions. Develop and manage System Requirement Specification document. Participate in developing and updating the Project Plan/Schedule. Coordinate testing with business and technical staff. Manage all issues identified during testing and ensure all issues are resolved timely. Develop and update System Test Scripts/Plans. Develop and update user Acceptance Test Scripts. Document and track issues found during testing. Execute and document Regression testing. Execute System Test Scripts/Plans. Execute user acceptance Test Scripts/Plans. Technical writing. Required Skills: Formal System Requirement Specification writing experience. Experience testing internet/web based applications. Experience with testing JCL scripts. Understanding of Object Oriented Design principles and methodologies. Formal testing experience (system and user acceptance). Strong documentation and written communication skills. Familiarity with full suite of Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work with both business and technical staff in a team environment. Technical writing experience. Desired Skills: Familiarity with IEEE standard documentation. Familiarity with large-scale taxation systems. Familiarity with ISO 9000. Experience with Adabas/Natural programming in a mainframe/CICS environment. Experience with Java programming in a windows environment.
