We are seeking an IT Management Consultant for customer support.  

 

Project Details:

 

The skills required are (Tivoli / Netcool):

 

1.  Architecture and Design skills in monitoring and SOA

2.  ESB (Enterprise Service Bus)

3.  Utilities industry expertise

4.  Discovery technologies and concepts

5.  Monitoring technologies and concepts

6.  Historical data collection and reporting

7.  General consulting skills

 

Activity 2.3.1 Service Management Data Gathering and Analysis.

Description:  This activity is to gather information about the proposed
Advanced Metering System (AMS) that will be used to develop an architecture
and implementation plan for the Service Management and Monitoring solution.

 

Activity 2.3.2 Service Management and Monitoring for the Infrastructure
Servers and Devices.

Description: This activity is to determine the requirements and
implementation plan required for providing the service management and
monitoring solutions for the infrastructure servers and devices.

 

Activity 2.3.3 Data Management Activities Required for Service Management
and Monitoring.

Description: This activity is to determine the movement of service
management and monitoring collected data from the various sources into a
relational database where it can be used for analysis and historical
reporting.

 

Activity 2.3.4 Design of Discovery of the Configuration Items in the ONCOR
Environment.

Description: This activity is to determine the designs of the service
management and monitoring solution that will allow the scanning of the
infrastructure environment for the ONCOR Advanced Metering Solution (AMS)
elements to identify and gather configuration information.

 

Activity 2.3.5 Additional Service Management and Monitoring Needs or
Capabilities.

Description: This activity is to determine what additional service
management and monitoring capabilities or tools may be needed for the AMS
deployment.

 

Primary Role:                            IT Management Consultant

Primary Skill Set:                       Tivoli

Secondary Skill Sets:                Service Management Implementation;
Service Management Strategy & Planning

Comments / Other Skills:           Consultant should have a breadth of
Netcool and Tivoli solution experience.
